I believe it was a fashion statement. Grollyhermits were born to be fashion victims, indeed many have been frosted and in the higher orders implanted 100's and 1000's are de rigueur.

Was that a congenital defect, or was a flake inserted shortly after birth in some bizarre '99' accident on the promenade? >:^,
Spiny Norman 09:34:37 | 13 Feb 2011
DNA testing proved inconclusive ... the ratio of chocolate to hair differed but this could be explained by the flake in the fontanel.

'Cousin Muffin-muncher' >x^p
Spiny Norman 09:14:54 | 13 Feb 2011
Is he a cousin?

I've actually spotted this elusive creature. He was devouring chocolate muffins whilst scratching his head. A true multi-tasker with a fear of direct sunlight.
Daddy Papersurfer 09:05:27 | 13 Feb 2011
Anyone got any idea what this actually looks like?! >:^p
