A proper pint of ale..
I had occasion to spend some time in Cornwall over the last couple of weeks, and Mr Tribute and I became firm friends. If in the vicinity, pop into the Ship Inn in Fowey and enjoy a fine, fine pint of local brew!

the first ale
of the year.......and that could have had something to do with it being one of the best tasting bitters I have tried in a long time......though I don't think it was all to do with that! It is creamy, smooth, not too strong and beautifully pale gold in colour. I think this has to top Doom Bar in my opinion......

I doubt it travels that well... mind you, neither to I after a gallon or so...

I'm getting a bit bored of this one... voting down (for a while anyway!)

Goachers Fine Light is 'old school'... designed for sessions and lock-ins..

You're right, it's a never-ending, Sisyphean task... but one that I embrace readily :-p

Hmmm... it would be helpful if the system let you know that when putting in a new item!
Somnambulist 07:45:38 | 9 Mar 2011
Already in the list, old boy!

Not a bad ale, with a bit of bitter bite... definitely preferable to Ringwood's Best.

Great name! Yet to try it....

What a great name! Inspired by the water nymphs in Twickenham.....and I always beleived the boys went to Twickers to see the rugby.......
Sparkly Aph 07:54:22 | 21 Feb 2011
Apparently this is Durham Brewery's biggest selling beer... personally I found it too bitter, almost sour. On the other hand if you like weissbiers, this might be for you...
