Nice to see the Irish halve the potato with the French yesterday...

Sorry, we're working on the comments field scrolling issue… and the dustbin lorry schedule… and a trip to Mauritius. I’m multi-basking.
DJ 13:05:26 | 5 Dec 2011
Mind you, it isn't dustbin day ... tee hee heeeeee
Daddy Papersurfer 11:20:48 | 5 Dec 2011
At least you didn't (like me) reverse into yours! Made a resounding thud. No dents though! Only to my pride!
sTubbuLon5 11:18:44 | 5 Dec 2011
I'm disturbed by the comment field not scrolling and the fact I forgot to put the dustbins out today.
Daddy Papersurfer 11:15:59 | 5 Dec 2011
Did a goddess get hold of yer tongue there?
sTubbuLon5 11:04:24 | 5 Dec 2011
Please replace 'does' with 'this' - thank you.
Daddy Papersurfer 11:02:54 | 5 Dec 2011
Does doesn't apply to goddesses ... their job, as far as I can see, is to fool peabrains constantly.
Daddy Papersurfer 11:02:06 | 5 Dec 2011
It depends where you pour it. If for instance you pour it into another bucket ... I'll say no more ...
Daddy Papersurfer 10:59:35 | 5 Dec 2011
Very poignant given recent events...

Could actually make a nice top 100 list: The Top 100 ways to relieve stress!

Thanks sTubbuLon5. Glad you like it. If it works for you, that's all that really matters, isn't it?
philosiblog 09:20:45 | 9 May 2011
@philosiblog - no problem, it's a good post. You write well and I think pretty much everyone will relate on one level or another...

@sTubbuLon5 - clearly a refined, big-picture thinker ;-)

Nice blog post. My biggest stress reliever - in the moments of stress - are simply to step back from back from any situation and say to myself - "will I still here alive tomorrow even if x, y, z does/doesn't happen?" Sounds silly, I know, but this is a really good technique.
sTubbuLon5 07:26:54 | 8 May 2011
Agreed (on barrenness and stress). Thanks for reading my post.
philosiblog 03:43:02 | 8 May 2011
Always been one of my faves...
DJ 12:30:16 | 7 May 2011
First off, I agree, Socrates rocks! My comments above are perhaps a bit flippant - I know what he means about the 'barrenness of a busy life', and you make some good points in your blog post to illustrate that meaning. I guess I was trying to make the additional point that busy does not necessarily equate to barren. I'm as busy as you suggest in your post, but I don't experience the stresses you allude to... I simply love what I do, which means it usually doesn't feel like 'work', but much more like 'living a dream'... Everyone needs some R&R at times, but if you're really stressed out by your life or what you do, then maybe consider getting 'busy' with something else? Just some thoughts...
