comments on Evolution explained
It's good to know that some things stay the same.
I wish someone would explain that to my eyebrows .....
I'd say that matches are perfectly adapted to their environment and therefore there is no longer selective pressure to change any of their features. Daddy Papersurfer, not so much.

I agree. Looking at my parents I believe the selection process was rushed ..... and looking at my children ....... very rushed .....
Well, we do seem to have evolved to have very little time these days, so it's not surprising that quite a few things are done in a hurry. Maybe this combo of large(ish) brains and opposable mouse-pointers will turn out to be a dead end after all...

There you go, spouting all that clever stuff while your mother nods and smiles and tries to look intelligent! I've seen her do it. Proud she is! Anyway back to matchsticks. Evolution or not they look to me like a perfect match.
By the way, he's not the DJ, he's a very naughty boy!
I still haven't seen that film!! - I actually found a copy in the loft yesterday - today might be the day!!!
The very naughty boy film?
Indeed - all the Python films slipped by and have remained 'slipped' ..... got a boxed DVD set now ...... might have a go ce soir ....
