noctilucent
Having stopped being irritated and given it some sensible thought, I really do like it! Nocti - of the night - lucent - glowing with light. Says it really, except that I'm not sure where the short summer night comes in unless it's because there would not be enough light during the night were it not mid summer! After all, just because it's dark here and blowing a gale, doesn't mean that the Scots aren't holding their midnight tennis match north of Inverness (sans floodlights)!!!

Usage: Sadly, I did not previse the trouble that would arise from having a wife, but at least it devised the solution to the problem of having a house. I'd advise avoidance, unless one needs someone to supervise the demise of ones assets.
